I hold ground. That's the work. If it's too much for them, we're not a fit. I reply warmly and explain the context — I want them to get it. I soften it internally but don't change anything public. I delete or edit the post. Not worth the discomfort. I spiral for two days wondering who else thought that.

The Intimate Pause needs a publishing rhythm. What does your body actually want?

A weekly cadence I can count on. Structure is liberation. Monthly feels sustainable — anything more is pressure. I post when I have something real — inconsistent but honest. Batch 6 in a quiet week, drip them out — system carries it. I freeze when I think about it, so no rhythm yet.

A public audience member (not a client) asks for therapy-adjacent advice in the comments / a DM. What's your move?

I answer generally — education isn't therapy, it's fine. I redirect: "this is what I teach in my course / workshop." I say "this isn't a therapy channel" and point them to finding a provider. I answer privately, feel weird about it, don't post that type of content again. I freeze — don't answer, don't address it publicly.

Someone asks if they can "pick your brain" about intimacy / couples / sex stuff. No offer to pay. Truth:

Clean no. That's my work. Direct with a price and a calendar link. I say yes and then resent it for weeks. I try to redirect them to something paid but softly, hoping they'll take the hint. Depends who's asking.

Q5 · pleasure as position

Marketing copy for The Intimate Pause uses the word pleasure as a central organizing principle. Not just intimacy, not just connection — pleasure.

Yes. That's the whole point. Yes but I want to see it in context before I commit. I prefer "intimacy" or "connection" — pleasure feels risky for my license. I'd rather lead with healing / trauma / regulation language and let pleasure emerge. Not sure yet. Show me both.

November you wrote: "desire is not danger, stability comes from honesty, not self-denial." Today, on a 1–5:
