BRAND ARCHITECTURE/TWO BRANDS/Q2 2026 → Q1 2027

The Intimate
Pause.

You already named it. You wrote it on your wall. Now let's build it. the clinical practice AND the expansion brand, firewalled properly, so neither one cannibalizes the other. This is how I scope it.

Take the intake
💋 THE CALL

Two brands, one person, one firewall.
The clinical work holds the license. The expansion brand holds the voice.

From your Nov intake: you've spent 16 years in the Boston school system, went private Sept '25, and know you're building something bigger than the therapy room. The trap most sex therapists hit: trying to do everything under one license, watering the brand down until it's indistinguishable from wellness-beige intimacy-coaching. You don't want that. So we build two.

What I already have.

Nov 2025 intake + cosmic profile + our conversations. Pre-loaded so the new intake is behavioral-only, not remedial.

Pre-loaded into the build

Practice name (locked)
The Intimate Pause. on your wall
Clinical scope
Sex therapy · trauma-informed · couples · relational · individual trauma
Billing infrastructure
SonderMind · live private Sept '25
Soul lesson
"Desire is not danger. Stability comes from honesty, not self-denial."
Cosmic shorthand
Pisces Sun · Virgo Moon · Gemini Rising · INFP 4w5
Conflict loop
avoid → withdraw → guilt → tears → return over-exposed
Brand aesthetic lock
sensual + sacred + hot pink + lingerie + minimal + meaningful
Rejecting
generic wellness-beige · intimacy-coaching aesthetic · Instagram-therapist template

The source material.

Direct from your Nov intake. Verbatim. Your own framing.

I want sensual, sexual, classy, elegant, spiritual.→ Brand aesthetic brief
I want people to see healing and understanding and peace — a time to pause and reflect.→ Experience brief
I need a logo. I need a website. I want to create a brand of what I am and what I want.→ Scope ask
Desire is not danger. Stability comes from honesty, not self-denial.→ Soul lesson · editorial thesis

Two brands. One firewall.

The clinical practice is regulated. The expansion brand is not. They don't share a URL, a voice, or a visual system. They share a person. nothing else.

The Clinical Practice

Licensed · regulated · insurance
  • Sex therapy + trauma + couples work
  • SonderMind handles billing + insurance
  • Boston-area referral pipeline
  • Quiet, professional, LCSW-visible aesthetic
  • Does not cross into editorial content
  • URL: clinical practice page (own domain or SonderMind subdomain)

The Intimate Pause

Brand · editorial · products · speaking
  • Substack / newsletter · editorial essays
  • Courses + workshops (not therapy)
  • Speaking + event bookings
  • Digital products (journals, prompts, guides)
  • The voice, the aesthetic, the hot-pink-sacred-sensual brief
  • URL: theintimatepause.com (or similar)

↓ The firewall: no clinical client is ever sold to. No Intimate Pause follower gets scheduled as a therapy client. ↓

The visual brief.

Locked from your Nov intake. This is the brand. not what you'll get talked out of by a designer, a therapist-friend, or an Instagram trend.

The Intimate Pause · Visual System v1

Sensual. Sacred. Hot pink.

Hot Pink
Rose Deep
Rose
Wine
Gold
Paper
Ink

Sensual

Texture. Lingerie-adjacent. Silk, velvet, breath. Body-close not body-euphemism.

Sacred

Ritual, slowness, candlelight. Not new-age. Old library / chapel / devotional attention.

Minimal

Lots of empty space. Few words. Each word earns its place.

Meaningful

Editorial weight. Readable at 3am. Not content-calendar fodder.

NOT this ↓ Not wellness-beige. Not sans-serif-on-stock-photo. Not "pleasure is your birthright" in cursive. Not Instagram-therapist templates. Not millennial dusty-pink sanitized feminism. Not self-help conference.

Four tracks.

Four layers to build the two-brand architecture properly. Each one has its own tempo and doesn't block the others.

Track 01 · Identity

Brand kit

The visual lock

Logo suite, type system, palette, print + digital rules. Both brands. Built to survive being copied by mediocre designers.

  • Logo exploration + 3 directions → 1 final
  • Type pairing + hierarchy
  • Palette + usage rules
  • Print collateral templates (cards, session intake)
  • Photography direction + mood references
Phase 1 · weeks 1–5
Track 02 · Digital home

The site

The Intimate Pause · v1

Editorial-weight, minimal, sacred. One landing that reads like the opening of a good book. not a service menu.

  • Domain + hosting setup
  • Editorial-first architecture (not "services" first)
  • Substack integration
  • Clear clinical vs expansion pathway
  • Email capture + newsletter flow
  • Booking link for non-therapy offerings
Phase 1–2 · weeks 3–9
Track 03 · Voice

Editorial engine

The newsletter + essays

Your editorial voice, structured. A launchable Substack with 3 cornerstone essays pre-built, plus a publishing cadence you can sustain.

  • Voice guidelines doc
  • 3 cornerstone essays drafted + ready to publish
  • 12 essay outlines (quarter of runway)
  • Publishing cadence that respects your actual capacity
  • Social-to-newsletter funnel
Phase 2 · weeks 5–12
Track 04 · Expansion

Products + speaking

Revenue beyond therapy

One course, one workshop, one digital product. the first three things for sale that aren't billable therapy hours. Speaker one-sheet for event bookings.

  • First course outline + price point
  • First digital product (journal, prompt deck, guided meditation)
  • Workshop format + booking flow
  • Speaker one-sheet + pitch deck
  • Pricing architecture across all offerings
Phase 3 · weeks 10–20

Start with the intake.

35 questions, ~25 minutes. depth for actual build work, encrypted and only I read it. I already have your Nov profile loaded, so this intake is about the structural calls. not about re-introducing yourself.
